With a doctorate in Psychology, specialization in early childhood development, and experience in schools and pre-schools, Sheri-Lynn brings extensive expertise to Manitoba schools. She is prepared to support professional training, assessment and research.
Sheri-Lynn is currently employed part-time as a tenured associate professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Winnipeg. She teaches courses in special education, assessment and child development. She holds Manitoba certification and has previous work experience as a school psychologist and early childhood educator. Her doctorate from the University of Waterloo focused on early childhood development. Often with collaborators, she has received grants, researched and written about early numeracy development. She has also served on several Manitoba Education working groups.
Sheri-Lynn could be helpful in a variety of areas, including:
